What we need from you:  

• You must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• The ability to provide high quality meals in a fast-paced environment
• Strong focus on food safety compliance
• Exceptional customer service standards
• Ability to engage with local community
• Well-rounded experience within bar/pub industry
• Flexible availability to work rostered shifts as our venue is open 7 days a week

What will your job duties include?

• Plan and develop menus that are in line with venue standards
• Ensuring accurate food and labour costs, ordering food supplies, managing deliveries and processing invoices
• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Ensuring effective collaboration and communication across kitchen and front-of-house teams in regard to food preparation, standards and practices
• Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking methods
• Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
• Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations and practices including managing kitchen log books, cleaning schedules and temperature log books
• Selecting and training new staff, ensuring they are being trained to a high standard and familiarising them with kitchen processes
• Build a high performance team and lead a productive kitchen culture
• Working professionally in a fast paced environment
