The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Companion Animal Nurse.
In this leadership role, you will:
Oversee and support a team of three nurses, ensuring top-quality patient care.
Collaborate closely with four vets, a reception team, and a practice manager to maintain our high standards.
Help to drive operational excellence in our clinical services to our patients and clients.
Empower your team with guidance and support, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compassionate care.
Ideal Candidate:
Holds a recognised nursing qualification.
Has a minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably with leadership exposure, or demonstrated leadership experience in another field.
Has knowledge and skill in:
anaesthesia monitoring with multi-parameter equipment, including capnography
intraoral (dental radiography) and dental prophylaxis
surgical nursing, including orthopaedic procedures
Demonstrates strong communication, time management and organisational skills.
Is committed to excellence and ready to uphold and enhance our service standards.
Compensation:
The pay range for this role is $36-$40 per hour, reflecting both leadership responsibilities and our commitment to paying our team members well.
