The role of the Communications and Engagement team is to keep the Treasury connected, credible, and influential through cross-organisation communications strategy and advice, and management of public and media interaction. The team have a particular focus on stakeholder engagement strategy and advice, and communications planning and delivery.
The Head of Communications and Engagement role is a fantastic opportunity to influence senior leadership decision-making, make connections across the Treasury, and support all teams to deliver their mahi in line with the Treasury's Strategic Priorities.
Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Executive Services, this role also has a significant focus on Te Tai Ōhanga's reputation, working closely with other teams in the Strategy and Executive Services Directorate to manage external relations and to support the Secretary and Executive leadership team.
We are seeking an experienced communications professional to take upthis role leading our small communications team at the heart of Treasury.
