ABOUT THE ROLE

Security is fundamental to our success and the trust our customers place in us. Reporting directly to the Director of Systems Management, our Head of Cyber Security, plays a critical role in building and sustaining our reputation as a secure and trusted business partner.

You will develop and lead an integrated, enterprise-wide security strategy aligned to our business objectives, fostering a strong security culture and ensuring our people are equipped with the right skills and tools. Our Head of Cyber Security is responsible for managing, maintaining, and continuously improving company-wide security risk management, compliance, and operational security practices to support the safe and confident growth of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Security Leadership & Trust - strengthen Jade’s reputation as a trusted, secure partner through strong security assurance, engagement, and communication.


• Strategy & Business Alignment - define and deliver an enterprise security strategy aligned to business goals, innovation, and sustainable growth.


• AI Governance & Enablement - lead secure AI adoption by establishing governance, guardrails, and approved use of AI and generative AI technologies.


• Risk Management & Governance - own the security risk framework, ensuring clear visibility, mitigation, and reporting to leadership and the Board.


• Operational Security & Improvement - govern security controls, standards, monitoring, and the ISMS, driving continuous improvement and certification maturity.


• Leadership, Capability & Culture - build and lead a high‑performing security team while embedding strong security capability and accountability across the organisation.


• Assurance, Advisory & External Engagement - provide security leadership across audits, customer and commercial engagements, technology decisions, and industry forums.

ABOUT YOU

As a skilled Senior Security Professional, you will:

• Bring a minimum of 13+ years’ experience across information security, risk management, and IT-related roles, with 5+ years in a senior security management role.


• Be a strong collaborator with a proven ability to work proactively across business units to uplift security capability and enable business outcomes.


• Have strong working knowledge of recognised information security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001/27002, NIST, and similar standards.


• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a high level of personal integrity.


• Have experience managing vendors and contracts, including managed security services.


• Bring experience across cloud, virtualised, and hybrid environments, spanning on‑premises, hosted, and public cloud infrastructure.
