About the role
The Head of Information Technology (IT)is responsible for championing and leading CAP’s overall IT strategy and transformational roadmap. We are looking for a seasoned tech leader, who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into a bit of everything, from BAU IT services, budgets, cyber security, facilitating training to building CAP’s tech capabilities.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of IT is a technical expert, who is passionate about identifying and evaluating technology solutions to drive efficiency, innovation and impact. To be successful in this role, you will care about people, partnering well and building the tech competencies of those around you. This role plays a pivotal role in our employee journey creating an mutually flourishing work environment, by providing the CAP team with the tech tools to do their mahi well.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a professional and client-centric service provider. We are a not-for-profit organisation with a vision of ‘’Ending money chaos in Aotearoa’’.
CAP provides free practical help and hope to people living in unmanageable debt and hardship. Partnering with over 150 local churches from Kaitaia to Dunedin, CAP releases New Zealanders into lives of fullness and freedom.
