Job Description - Head of Sales

Job Description

Reporting to the CEO/MD, this role will be a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, responsible for delivering commercial results while upholding the highest standards of service, style, and operational performance. You’ll lead with integrity and impact, championing a high-performance culture and developing the next generation of retail leaders.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Driving sales and profit growth through strong leadership, analytics, and strategic planning

• Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team across multiple departments and store locations

• Ensuring exceptional customer experiences that reflect our brand promise and legacy

• Partnering with Buying and Marketing to align product and campaign strategies with customer demand

• Creating and executing succession plans and capability frameworks that grow internal leadership

• Providing insight-driven reporting to the Executive Team and Board

Qualifications

  • A proven background in senior retail leadership – ideally within luxury, fashion, or multi-department environments
  • Deep understanding of sales performance, workforce planning, and operational excellence
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for developing people and teams
  • Commercial savvy, with the ability to translate data into actions that drive profitability
  • A commitment to customer experience, brand standards, and business integrity
  • Confidence navigating complexity, change, and fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to lead by example on the shop floor
