Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor

Location: Dunedin

FTE: 0.8

About the role

We would like this role to lead and champion the promotion and facilitation of best practice health, safety, and wellbeing across the organisation, ensuring all employees understand their responsibilities.

Provide advice and support to managers and employees that is aligned with best practice health and safety.

Embed a culture of proactive health and safety throughout the organisation that focuses on individuals taking personal responsibility for the health and safety of themselves and others at work, every day.

What we are looking for

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in an advisory role in a complex organisation
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in health and safety management
  • Relationships and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and confident in decision-making
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Pragmatic, flexible and adaptable
