Heavy Diesel Mechanic

·        Diagnose vehicle faults and resolve mechanical issues

·        Perform vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing

·        Foster a proactive health & safety culture within the workshop team

·        Civil construction company- role based in the workshop in Belfast

On offer:

·        $35-$40 per hour

·        Time and a half after 40 hours, plus tool allowance

·        Opportunities for training and upskilling

·        Guaranteed 40 hours per week

o   Sign-up bonus of $400 after six weeks into work (conditions apply)

You must have:

·        Trade qualified in Heavy Automotive – Plant and Equipment or Road Transport preferred

·        Strong diagnostic skills (experience with electronic diagnostic equipment is not required)

·        Health and Safety focused

·        Good time management

·        Take pride in your work and gain satisfaction from “a job well done”

·        Have the ability to focus on the task at hand

·        Have good attention to detail

·        Class 4 and 5 Drivers Licences would be an advantage

·        Clean MOJ

·        Must have own transportation to get to work

·        Excellent communication skills
