About the role

Working as a Help Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact providing IT support to NZBS users around the country. You will be supporting a range of different IT solutions which often are critical to business operations. Your focus will be ensuring that our solutions work day-to-day. From time to time, you will also be involved in infrastructure improvement projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Remote support of 900+ staff across New Zealand from standard office apps to specialised Lab equipment and processes.
  • First level technical troubleshooting of issues and logging correct and relevant information in our ticketing system.
  • Assigning incoming tickets to appropriate teams
  • Maintaining system related documentation.
  • Some system administration, i.e., creation/disabling user accounts

About you

We are looking for a hardworking and values-driven person who wants a challenge and is keen to be part of a team.As the ideal candidate, you would bring to the role:

  • Sound knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
  • Sound understanding in PC hardware, remote computing, networking, telephony, printing, and security concepts
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, able to ask the right the questions
  • Able to self-manage workload and responsibilities
  • Able to identify priorities and escalate when needed.
