Hospitality Manager - Urgent Position

We are in search of a proactive Hospitality Manager to guide our hospitality teams and enhance customer satisfaction. The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience in high-volume food and beverage operations, ideally within a multi-venue setting, and will be eager to foster and mentor our teams to provide a distinctive and unforgettable customer experience.

Tasks & responsibilities

• We are all about the wine! Oversee our Executive Chef and kitchen team to create menus that highlight our exquisite wines. 
• Embrace sustainability by maximizing use of our on-site Chefs Garden and local Central Otago produce
• Collaborate with our Lodge Manager and various internal stakeholders to guarantee exceptional service. 
• We are a popular Events venue - ensure delivery meets customer expectations. 
• Oversee budgeting, rostering, inventory management, and conduct real-time forecasting
• Flexibility for weekend, public holiday, and evening work is necessary.

Qualifications & experience

• Proven expertise in Food and Beverage within a multi-venue setting
• A positive outlook and proven experience in coaching and mentoring hospitality teams to foster engagement
• Robust financial management abilities – adept at adhering to budgets, managing overhead costs, and generating reports
• Ambitious, with a creative flair and determination
• Outstanding communication skills
• Exceptional organizational abilities and composure under pressure
• Availability to work on weekends, public holidays, and some evenings as needed
