Job Description - Hospitality & Tourism Coordinator - Unlimited Growth Potential

We are looking for an experienced Hospitality & Tourism Coordinator to join our awesome team at Hackthorne Gardens International Limited in Christchurch Central, Canterbury.

We are looking for energetic and hands on Hospitality Professional that are looking for a new challenge. 

You will create a unique guest experience while effectively managing day-to-day logistics of the motel and Airbnb properties. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the motel and Airbnb properties, including guest services, airport transfer, housekeeping, reservations, and maintenance
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are upheld
  • Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally
  • Manage and update reservation systems, maintaining accuracy of bookings and availability
  • Ensure the safe transportation of guests between the hotel and the activity site when required
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations
  • Manage guest services including airport transfers, host day tours, when required

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in motel or holiday home is desirable but a can-do attitude will suffice 
  • Have a full, clean NZ driver’s license and proven solid driving experience
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with Chinese speaking guests, when required
  • Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software
  • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Understand health and safety regulations
  • Able to work from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6.30pm
  • Open to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when required
