Overview of the Role 

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting Thai Touch in delivering an exceptional and authentic Thai massage experience, encouraging repeat long-term customers. Your responsibilities will ensure that our studios maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness, creating a welcoming and serene environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service Excellence: Participate in our “welcome innovation” programme to learn how to greet and treat customers from Sawasdeeka ka to Khob khun ka, ensuring an excellent customer experience that encourages repeat visits.
• Professional Appearance: Always take pride in your personal and professional appearance, wearing the provided uniform smartly, clean, and ironed. Follow company guidelines for cleanliness, tidiness, and disposition.
• Studio Maintenance: Unlock and prepare the studio for the day, ensuring all equipment and lights are turned on, air-conditioning and heating are set appropriately, and candles are lit. Maintain cleanliness by vacuuming, dusting, and tidying all areas of the studio, including reception, kitchen, therapy rooms, and bathroom.
• Stock Management: Update the Receptionist on stock levels to ensure timely orders for replacement supplies. Replenish laundry stocks in therapy rooms and confirm that each room has adequate supplies, including towels, oil, and steamers.
• Laundry Duties: Wash, iron, fold, and roll laundry to ensure a smooth business function. Gather used laundry and place it in appropriate bins, and put out rubbish daily from all areas.
• End-of-Day Procedures: Extinguish candles, ensure the bathroom is clean and stocked, and lock the business, including all windows and doors, upon leaving for the day.
• Team Collaboration: Be empathetic to all team members, ready to listen and address their needs, and maintain customer and business confidentiality at all times. Participate in ongoing training to develop performance.

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience in maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
• Ability to work considerately, responsibly, openly, and positively in a team, even under pressure.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision, make decisions, and solve problems.
• Clear, willing, and open communication skills.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, showing tact and patience when dealing with difficult individuals.
• A mature and methodical manner.

Remuneration

$24 per hour. We will pay you an additional $2 per hour for time worked after 5 pm (weekdays) and at the weekends.
