 About the Role

As the HR Business Partner, you will have at least 3 years’ experience in a HR advisory or partnering level role with a focus on improving processes and solving business challenges. You will have two direct reports, an HR Administrator and a Recruitment Lead. It will be your responsibility to provide the highest standard of employment relations management, problem solving, policy writing, process improvement, strategy and planning along with recruitment for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Policy writing and process improvement that improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the business
  • Collaborating with managers to understand their objectives and challenges, providing strategic HR support and insights
  • As part of the executive team, being involved in the strategy and planning within the business from an HR perspective e.g. engagement and retention strategies
  •  Problem solving and finding efficient solutions in a timely manner
  • Leading, coaching and supporting managers on HR matters such as performance management and employment related matters
  •  Providing recruitment support with Support Office roles and improving the processes in this space, working closely with the Recruitment Lead regarding the programme roles recruitment
  • Report creation and writing annual and board reports as required
  •  Data analytics to identify trends and areas of development for process improvement
  • Management of two direct reports

About you

  • It is essential you have had at least 3 year’s experience in a mid- senior HR role.
  • You must be a passionate HR professional with a strong understanding of employment law.
  • A strong problem-solving ability and good ability to identify challenges and put solutions in place.
  • It is essential that you are process and data driven with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • You must be resilient and strong with the ability to be compassionate when required.
  • Natural interpersonal and people skills.
  • Prior people management is advantageous.
  • Excellent word, excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience using the Avature or a recruitment tracker system would be advantageous but not essential.
