About this Position

We’re looking for a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Advisor NZto help Acusensus embed safety, environmental care and quality into every part of our operation. You’ll report to the Global HSEQ Lead and work closely with the HSEQ Manager NZ, joining a values-led team focused on supporting real impact in the world.

You’ll be a key player in supporting and strengthening the Integrated Management System (IMS), helping ensure compliance, driving continuous improvement, and embedding a strong safety culture into everything Acusensus do. From managing corrective actions, coordinating audits and inspections to managing training, risk, and reporting, you’ll be at the centre of their commitment to doing things right and doing them better every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of compliance and continuous improvement across all HSEQ areas
• Maintain documentation, training schedules, and certification records
• Monitor, plan and conduct allocated internal audits, workplace inspections, and site visits across New Zealand
• Maintain incident reporting and corrective actions, collating metrics and coordinating with cross function teams to ensure close out of corrective actions in a timely manner
• Track, monitor and report on HSEQ KPIs and contribute to system performance monthly reporting and annual management reviews.

We would love you to have:

• Proven experience in a health, safety, environmental or quality advisory role
• Strong knowledge of NZ HSEQ legislation and ISO-based systems
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting
• A track record of driving continuous improvement and collaborating across teams
• The flexibility to travel as needed
• Experience working in a start-up, fast-paced or evolving environment
• Alignment with the Acusensus mission to reduce road trauma and make communities safer
