Human Resources Lead

Our People team are searching for a Human Resources Lead to take the helm and steer us through some exciting global projects whilst developing and improving foundational service to our growing business.  

Reporting to our Chief People & Culture Officer, this role requires a well-rounded HR professional who has a keen eye for project implementation, managing and understanding positive change management processes and has an enthusiasm for continuous improvement towards HR and wider practices.  

We’re looking for someone who can think globally and act locally — all while bringing energy and a sense of fun to the journey. 

About the Role 

The Human Resources Lead is responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and digitally enabled people services that support organisational performance and an exceptional employee experience across Comvita.  

This role is integral for cross-functional partnering to not only the wider People & Technology team but to Market Leaders, Executive Leadership and everyone in between! 

Key Responsibilities of the Role  

• Lead Comvita's HR operations and employee lifecycle processes. 


• Oversee HRIS, payroll processes and continuous improvement initiative, including implementations. 


• Lead remuneration reviews, job sizing and salary benchmarking. 


• Use people data and insights to drive better business decisions. 


• Manage employee relations, performance and change processes. 


• Provide trusted HR advice and support to leaders and employees. 


• Lead and develop a small, high-performing HR team. 


• Partner across the business to deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions. 
  

What you bring to the role 

• Experienced HR professional with strong operational leadership capability. 


• Strong employee relations, advisory and change management experience. 


• Experience working in globally distributed organisations, with exposure to multiple countries and regulatory environments. 


• HRIS and payroll implementation and process improvement expertise. 


• Data-driven with the ability to turn insights into action. 


• Confident leading projects, systems improvements and people initiatives. 


• Practical, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. 


• Strong leadership capability, with the ability to influence senior leaders, build capability, and drive accountability.
