The Role:

As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating installation, maintenance and projects in the Waikato region. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supervising a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful work completion.
• Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and Electrical systems on commercial projects.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met within specified timelines and budgets.
• Conducting on-site inspections, quality checks, and troubleshooting to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Contributing to the training and development of technicians & apprentices within the branch.
• Providing technical expertise and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Hands-on position with time divided between field services and office work – best of both worlds!
   

Skills and Experience:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience as a Supervisor or a similar leadership position in the HVAC or Electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC or Electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting will be advantageous.
• Sound understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and safety guidelines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritise tasks, ensuring efficient project execution.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• A relevant trade qualification or certification in HVAC or Electrical field.

We currently work in the HVAC, refrigeration and electrical industries, providing quality service and installations throughout New Zealand.

We work with a range of commercial customers. It may be smaller retail stores, mid-size office buildings, or high-rise commercial retail buildings. We deal with upgrades, refurbishments and retro-fits of existing buildings, but we also work on new commercial developments.
