Hydraulic Service Technician

We deliver maintenance services, project delivery, manufacturing, and hydraulic solutions to a wide variety of clients throughout the North Island. We are looking to expand our Hydraulic's team here at IMG Rotorua, formally known as McRae's Global.

We are also considering people in the industry that may be looking to expand their skill set into a specialist field, you may have background in Fitting, Mechanics or Aircraft Mechanics and are looking for a new challenge.

About the role:

Our Hydraulic Technicians assemble, service and repair hydraulic equipment, both within our workshops and in the field on customer’s sites in situations ranging from projects and routine maintenance, to high pressure breakdown situations. We cover a wide range of industries, such as sawmilling, steelmaking, plastics, marine, military and mobile plant.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Have previous experience in mechanical or fitting looking for a new challenge in an established specialist industry.
• Problem solving, experience providing solutions in the mechanical and industrial world, and performance under pressure.
• Willingness to learn, strong work ethic and quality workmanship.

Required

• Trade qualification.
• Hydraulics experience would be ideal.
• 3-5 years of trade experience as a Mechanic, Fitter, Fitter Turner, Aircraft Technician, or other relevant field.
• Experience working in New Zealand industry.
• Can read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and computer literacy, the ability to produce written reports.
• Valid New Zealand Drivers Licence.
