Fresh Meats NZ is a boutique lamb processor based in Pandora, Napier. We operate Monday to Friday on an alternating day schedule — processing one day, boning the next. Our hygiene team works evenings, typically 4:00pm to midnight, depending on workload.

We currently have two vacancies in our small, close-knit hygiene team. This is a great opportunity for people who take pride in their work, are physically fit, and want to be part of a hardworking, supportive crew.

As a hygiene team member, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our facility clean and food safe. You’ll need to be dependable, detail-focused, and ready to roll up your sleeves.

What we’re looking for:

• Reliable and punctual – we need people we can count on


• A positive attitude and strong work ethic


• Physical fitness for manual cleaning work


• Previous industrial or food processing cleaning experience is ideal, but not essential – full training provided


• Able to work evenings and follow health & safety procedures


• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

• Hourly rate of $25.00, plus performance incentives based on cleaning score
