Join Our Team as an ICT Help Desk Officer!

About the Role: We're on the hunt for a talented and experienced ICT Help Desk Officer to bolster our team. If you have a robust background in Office 365, Cisco networking, server management, and a range of enterprise technologies, we want to hear from you. You'll be pivotal in providing top-tier technical support, ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain meticulous records for tracking hardware deployment, serial numbers, and licensing.
  • Research and resolve technical issues faced by users, ensuring timely and satisfactory solutions.
  • Utilise Pronto and Streamline for employee management.
  • Maintain security protocols with Microsoft Defender.
  • Ensure all work requests, including those outside the help desk, are documented and assigned within the organisation's Help Desk system.
  • Promptly address virus and malware issues to minimise impact on users and the organisation.
  • Build (image/reimage) computers and phones using vendor or organisation media, preparing them for deployment.
  • Configure cellular telephony to meet organisational needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure positive user experiences.
  • Support and troubleshoot Android, Apple, and Windows devices.
  • Manage security access using C4 and permissions across various platforms.
  • Oversee help desk requests and assign them to appropriate IT personnel, utilising the ticketing system efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain printers using PrinterLogic.
  • Manage software licensing and SharePoint administration.
  • Conduct KnowBe4 security awareness training sessions for staff.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of support activities, solutions, and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in an ICT help desk or technical support role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Office 365, Cisco Meraki, server management, and Azure.
    • Strong understanding of Pronto, Streamline, PrinterLogic, TeamViewer, SMX, Intune, and ERP systems.
    • Competence in managing and supporting Android, Apple, and Windows devices.
    • Experience with security access management and compliance.
    • Familiarity with KnowBe4 security training programmes.
    • Familiarity with video conferencing technologies.
    • Solid understanding of ticketing systems and ITIL practices.
    • Understanding of server virtualisation environments.
    • In-depth knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN infrastructure, and VPN.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
