Inclusive Learning Assistant (Teacher Aide)

Rototuna Junior High School 

We are seeking an Inclusive Learning Assistant (Teacher Aide) to join our Kaaingarua team.  Kaaingarua is a new learning programme at Rototuna Junior High School established to support a small group of students who are struggling to engage in school and/or making positive choices when engaging with others. 

We invite applications from people with specific interest and experience in building strong, supportive relationships with students, fostering an environment of care and supporting students to succeed in their learning.  The successful applicant will require a Full New Zealand Driving License as there will be a requirement to pick up/drop off students as part of this role.

The role is a generalist Inclusive Learning Assistant for between 21 and 25 hours per week between the hours of 8am to 3pm on most days (some flexibility available).

Start date: Term 3 - Monday 22 July, 2024.
