We are seeking an experienced and values‑driven Individual Giving Specialist to play a key role in delivering MHFs impactful Individual Giving programmes; appeals, regular givingdigital fundraising and associated campaignsIn this roleyou’ll combine strategic thinkingcreativity and data‑driven insight to grow Individual Giving programmes, strengthen donor relationships and help bring our mission to life.  


You’ll work collaboratively across fundraising, marketing, digital and external partners to grow income and deepen donor relationships. This role sits within the wider Public Engagement team and reports to the Fundraising Manager. 



What you will do 


You will: 



  • Lead and deliver Individual Giving programmes, including appeals, regular giving and digital fundraising, in line with the fundraising strategy 



  • Manage timelines, budgets and income targets 



  • Plan and implement engaging donor journeys that strengthen relationships and retention 



  • Collaborate with marketing, communications and external agencies to develop compelling fundraising campaigns and assets 



  • Monitor, analyse and report on programme performance, using insights to inform future activity

You will have

You’ll bring: 



  • At least two years’ experience delivering or advising on Individual Giving programmes, including regular giving, appeals and digital fundraising 



  • Strong knowledge of best‑practice fundraising and Individual Giving principles 



  • Confidence using fundraising CRMs and working with donor data and reporting 



  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders 



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences 



  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to deliver campaigns and fundraising materials 



  • Cultural awareness and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, with a willingness to grow knowledge of Te Ao Māori and Te Reo Māori 



  • A proactive, organised approach and genuine commitment to learning and professional development

Salary band: $77,000 – 87,000 and will be commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience.
