Our client has an immediate requirement for a seasoned professional Infrastructure Architect to join their highly successful Managed Services company here in Auckland. We are looking for someone that has a background in Network Design & Architecture and Internet Security. Your role will include working closely with other architects and cross functional teams to define the Network infrastructure Design Patterns and Best Practices across the Infrastructure Landscape. The role will be for a 2 year timeframe with the opportunity to extend beyond this.
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skillsets and experience; - 3-5 years of experience in Designing & Architecting Networks (LAN, WAN)
- Strong background as a Network Engineer working for an MSP or with Enterprise customers
- Deep knowledge of Internet security and hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortigate, Palo Alto, Checkpoint) Layer 2 & 3
- Experience in a managed services provider environments MSP/ISP
- Experience with integration projects, ensuring seamless communication between systems
- Familiarity with ITIL a bonus
- Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and data security
- A Passion for Infrastructure both current and future
