About the Role

As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be working in a customer focused, high performing IT Operations team, accountable for infrastructure related services.You will work alongside a strong team of Infrastructure Engineers as well as a range of stakeholders through the business.

We are looking for an infrastructure engineer to join our team, to support our existing deployments as well as expanding our infrastructure. What you’re responsible for

-All Enterprise Infrastructure Applications such as Citrix, VMWare, Enterprise Storage, Group Policy, Active Directory, Exchange, Antivirus, Skype, Proxy, Mail scrubbing, Commvault, Acronis, SCCM, Monitoring etc.

-Complying with and contributing to Full end-to-end Infrastructure processes and reporting, including capacity management and planning.

-Ensure maximum availability,Security, performance, and appropriate capacity for all FSNI IT / Technology systems

What skills and experience you need

-7+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment

-Understanding of the components required in an effective network infrastructure.

-Understanding of and experience working with VMWare technical stack.

-You will have excellent planning and communication skills, with a great ability to collaborate with others, clearly articulate ideas/concepts and effectively present to others.

-You will be flexible and able respond to incoming requests, and someone who constantly can challenge the status quo.

-Experience withCitrix, VMWare, Enterprise Storage, Group Policy, Active Directory, Exchange (Onprem & Online), AntiVirus, Skype, Proxy, Mail scrubbing, Commvault, Acronis, SCCM, Monitoring

- Experience working with Enterprise SAN Storage – Pure Storage or similar

- Strong background in managing and optimizing blade chassis infrastructure

- Strong aptitude for rapid learning and the confidence to assume ownership in resolving challenges in unfamiliar scenarios
