Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity 

Come and play in our data lake! 

Pinnacle are bringing the best of the cloud to the health sector. We are engaged in some exciting cloud projects; but we also need your expertise to help us gain valuable insights from our data. 

You’ll be using a lot of SQL (or python if you prefer) to investigate issues, respond to data requests and support our network of primary care professionals. You’ll be working in the cloud alongside our Data Engineer team to come up with new data, insights and possibilities! You should be comfortable working with SQL but, more importantly, you should be curious, motivated, self-sufficient and have fantastic people skills.

As a minimum you should be able to demonstrate that you have: 

• Proficiency with SQL.


• Experience of talking through data access requests with business users.


• Experience of building interactive visualisations and dashboards, and deploying them in a business environment.


• The capacity and drive to keep learning. 


• Great ideas for how we can use data.


• Amazing relationship-building experience.


• A highly-organised approach to work, and a passion for documentation.


• A positive customer service ethos. 

Other skills that we would value: 

• Experience of developing code in teams. 


• Understanding of cloud platforms and services. 


• Work experience in the NZ health sector
