Instructional Designer / Resource Developer - Positive Work Culture

We have an opportunity for an Instructional Designer / Resource Developer to join our team, on a fixed-term contract.

Do you have knowledge of the New Zealand Qualifications framework? Are you familiar with unit standards and the AME (achieved/merit/excellence) grading in NCEA achievement standards? Are you knowledgeable of the NZQA Legal Studies subject domain?

Key Responsibilities:

• Update Instant’s high quality, engaging educational resources in collaboration with our Instructional Design Team.
• Ensure resources meet all relevant NZQA requirements.
• Meet deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree (e.g., education, law, communication, social sciences, design, or similar).
• Experience in the New Zealand education sector
• Knowledge of Legal Studies subject domain
• Understanding of AME grading
• One or more years’ resource development/instructional design experience.
• Proficiency with information technology, including ability to work in InDesign.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to set goals and meet deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills.
• A New Zealand based qualification or experience in the legal profession or teaching Legal Studies in New Zealand would be an advantage.
• Holding 4098 and experience co-assessing NZQA assessments would be an advantage.
