Job Description - Integration System Analyst

Want to work in one of New Zealand’s Best Places to Work?

If you value long-term growth over job-hopping, and you want to work for a company where your impact is visible every day, keep reading.

We’re Crossfire, part of the Kiwi-owned and operated software business, Sandfield. Our managed integration service connects some of Australasia’s top retailers, suppliers and logistics companies together to help them deliver next-level service.

Our business is growing like crazy so we’re looking for another talented Integration System Analyst to join our awesome team.

The role

To be successful in this role you will have at least one year/s of experience with EDI mapping, development, or testing in the retail or shipping sector. You will also have the following skills:

  • Understanding of GTIN, GLN and EAN codes.
  • Understanding of the EDIFACT, X12 and XML message formats.
  • Be a great trouble shooter of network connectivity for EDI Messaging

Ideally you will have exposure to retail supply chain processes and have a basic understanding of programming such as Visual basic, C#, Java or SQL. Naturally you will have excellent customer communication skills as you will be providing customer support and assistance by answering queries regarding EDI messaging and making mapping alterations when required. Also some experience with Biztalk, Flow or similar mapping tools is ideal, as is some familiarity with VAN, FTP, AS2 connectivity.

At Sandfield we have a long history of building core transactional systems, critical to our client’s success. Our databases process hundreds of thousands of transactions a day. But these systems don't often stand on their own. We provide our clients systems for finance, issue management, content management, EDI, RFID, customer portals, dashboards, BI reporting, 3rd party integration, mapping, and many more. It's through our knowledge of our client's business that enables us to add value to nearly all aspects of their information systems.

About Sandfield

We’re a leading, Kiwi-owned software business that prides itself on NOT just being a conventional tech company. We have a team of over 180, and are continuing to grow.

Our work facilitates high-performance supply chains for the likes of Mainfreight, Qube and Allied Concrete and keeps millions of orders and data points flowing for Foodstuffs. It also manages business finances for Team Global Express and Green Acres, helps fill seats on the Interislander, keeps Les Mills members engaged, and helps you park through ParkMate.

Our collaborative culture is at the centre of everything we do at Sandfield, making it a special place to work. We know this because people also tend not to leave, with the average length of stay being around six years. In 2025, we were shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Place to Work in New Zealand.

Ready to make your move?

If you’re happy being just a number at a massive corporate... we’re probably not for you.

But if you want to be the driving force behind the culture of an innovative tech leader, we want to hear from you!

When you work for us, you’ll enjoy:

  • Career progression based on initiative and performance—not tenure.
  • A huge variety of work
  • A relaxed, supportive and social environment
  • A flat team structure that emanates lots of positive energy!
  • Flexible working policy
  • Dedicated professional development budget and structured soft skills training to sharpen your leadership edge.

  • 75% discount on your commute to work with Fareshares.
