Intermediate or Senior Planning Consultant, Ōtautahi Christchurch

The Property Group Limited (TPG) is a locally owned property and RMA planning consultancy, bringing Kiwis together to build Aotearoa New Zealand for over two decades. We are looking for an experienced intermediate or senior planner to join our Ōtautahi Christchurch office.

About the role
Our nationwide planning team is a talented group of people. They are sought after experts in what they do and have strong technical planning experience in the Resource Management Act (RMA) and urban planning. As TPG provides a full package of planning and property advice to our clients, you will also get to work collaboratively alongside our property, urban regeneration, development and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) teams.
The range of work you can typically expect to be involved with includes securing resource consents for development projects, preparing notices of requirement for infrastructure projects, processing resource consents for local authorities, and preparing district plan changes.
About you
We are ideally looking for someone who understands the local planning framework in the Canterbury Region. You will be working in an established office of planning and property professionals and expected to provide technical planning support, primarily within the Canterbury region. You will report to our Principal Planner in our Christchurch office. If you have the following skills and experience, or the potential to develop in these, then we would love to hear from you:
