Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Intermediate Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Auckland. As an Intermediate Software Developer at Renti, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing development and enhancement of our platform. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of new features and enhancements for the Renti platform.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and modern development methodologies.
• Collaborate with team members to identify technical requirements, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions to technical challenges.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and actively contribute to continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with backend development using frameworks such as Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience in mobile app development (iOS or Android) using native or cross-platform frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is preferable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A passion for technology and a desire to contribute to the success of a rapidly growing startup.
