Intermediate Systems Administrator

Company and role: 
My client, a private sector organisation based in the Wellington CBD, is seeking an intermediate systems administrator to join their team. This is an exciting permanent opportunity to work on a wide variety of technology in a fast-paced role. 

Duties for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and monitor all system components 
- Ensure products are properly tested and certified
- Maintain windows server and desktop systems
- Monitor and manage virtual servers
- Maintaining data integrity
- Ad-hoc duties 

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following: 
- Wide-ranging experience using a variety of different tech - this is a varied technical environment, including some unique systems. 
- Willingness to learn
- The ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders. 
- Experience managing windows server and active directory. 
- Experience working in a small team - the candidate will need to be take the initiative and be able to solve problems themselves. 
- Resilience, and the ability to work in a fast, busy environment. 
- Private sector experience strongly preferred. 
- This is an on-site role - the candidate will need to be on-site 5x a week, and be willing to do some occasional on-call work. 
- The candidate must be based in Wellington, and have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
