We have an opportunity for a Test Analyst to join a market leader in its field. This organisation is very well established and operates in a tidy, organised and professional manner. Producing a large scale piece of software you will be joining an organisation that understands the value of IT and the need for good quality testing.

The testing team undergoes manual, automation and performance testing and you will be involved in all of these different forms as part of your role. Other parts of your role will include developing test cases, developing manual and automation test scripts, defect management, bug tracking, and the use of testing tools such as rational robot, On Time, and Spira.

So in order to be successful in this environment we are looking for a Test Analyst with the following skills and experience:

  Comprehensive technical knowledge including an understanding of SDLC and related methodologies

  
  


• 
  

  Specialist experience as a Test Analyst

  
  


• 
  

  ISTQB certification

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to quickly master new payments technology/products

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience in Automation and Performance testing

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience in bug tracking and defect management

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language for the purpose of writing test scripts

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Virtual Machine based environments.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with Java Web Applications  and Oracle.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven track record of meeting project milestones and deadlines

  
  


• 
  

  Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintenance of issue tracking documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of the cards/mobile/financial transactions processing industry and associated standards.

  
  

You will need to have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience working within an ICT function and have previous experience working in a testing environment
