We are looking for a New Zealand based Interpreting Team Lead who is equal parts empathetic mentor and tech-obsessed optimiser.   

As our Team Lead, you aren't just managing schedules, you're the architect of the future of our interpreting operations.  Reporting to the Global Head of Production, you'll lead a squad of Project Managers, ensuring we deliver world-class quality while agressively chasing efficiency through technology.   We are going to be moving quickly with this role - with a view to have someone in place by the 1st April!  Don't delay - apply now.

What You'll be Doing

• Lead the Squad:  Coach and mentor a team of Interpreting PMs.  You're their primary point of escalation and their biggest cheerleader.

• Engineer Efficiency:  You won't just follow workflows - you'll break them and rebuild them.  We want you looking for ways to implement agentic processes and synthetic interpreting tools to keep us ahead of the curve

• Keep Your Cool:  When a project goes sideways or a client has a last-minute change, you're the calm centre of the storm.

• The Numbers Game: Partner with Sales on big bids and dive into monthly data to find where we can improve margins and bridge resource gaps.

Experience - 5+ Years in the LSP world (with 2+ years of leading people)

Tech Brain - You know IMS and TMS platforms (Boostlingo etc) like the back of your hand

AI Curiosity - You don't fear AI; you want to know how to harness it to make our team's lives better

Soft Skills - High EQ.  You can translate clients needs into deliverables without breaking a sweat.
