Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and skilled at managing information, processes, and competing priorities? Do you enjoy supporting teams that undertake complex and meaningful work?


We're looking for an Investigations Coordinator to provide critical operational, administrative, and case coordination support across our AML/CFT and Charities investigations team. In this role, you'll help ensure investigations are well organised, information is accurately managed, and investigators have the systems and support they need to deliver effective regulatory outcomes.


The role | Te tūnga  


As an Investigations Coordinator, you'll be at the centre of the investigations function, supporting the coordination of investigative workflows, information management, reporting, and team operations.


Working across both AML/CFT and Charities investigations, you'll play an important role in supporting investigations that help protect New Zealand's financial system, maintain public trust and confidence in registered charities, and uphold regulatory compliance.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Coordinating investigation files, referrals, triage processes, and reporting requirements.

  • Supporting evidence and information management processes.

  • Maintaining accurate records, databases, and document management systems.

  • Managing correspondence, monitoring deadlines, and supporting workflow management.

  • Providing operational support to investigators, managers, and the wider investigations team.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working.

We're looking for someone with:



  • Experience providing high-quality coordination, administration, or operational support.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Confidence with digital tools and upskilling in new technologies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to work.

  • An interest in regulatory, investigations, compliance, or enforcement environments.


Experience working in a regulatory, government, compliance, investigations, or legal environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
