We are looking for someone to join our team who has experience with irrigation equipment and tractor/harvester driving.

About the Role: The position ensures that our irrigation equipment, such as driplines, water lines, pumps, suction devices, and valves are all used and maintained according to standards and our site requirements.
Operating machinery such as a variety of tractors and side by sides to get around the property, help with tasks and transport irrigation equipment.
Safe and efficient operation of tractor and other heavy machinery on a variety of terrain doing tasks such as mowing, spraying, mulching and trimming
Tractor driving (down the vine rows), machine harvesting duties.
Daily use of maintenance and service of irrigation systems, pump filters, pump house and dosing pumps
Assist with the upkeep of all valve boxes and moisture reading equipment
Work with equipment such as shovels and pick axes
Trellis maintenance
Make regular checks around the property for hot spots/dry patches and liaise with management about any areas that may need irrigation attention
Ensure that all equipment and machinery is operated in a safe and efficient manner and washed down and clean at the end of each day if required
About You:
We are looking for an experienced vineyard allrounder that is a hand-on team player. We would love to hear from candidates who have the following attributes:
Flexibility in working hours, as during the harvest season you may be required to work longer hours and extra days.
The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and will be required to perform physical tasks.
A current driver’s license
Experience with irrigation/machinery and past relevant industry experience would be highly desirable
Ability to work both by yourself and within/lead a team
Good knowledge of and commitment to health and safety
