Job Description - IT Grad

At RUSH, we design and build technology to better serve humankind. Our Managed Services team ensures that the platforms and products we create continue to evolve, stay secure, and deliver measurable outcomes.


We are looking for a Graduate IT Support Specialist to become the heartbeat of our internal operations. This isn't just a "help desk" job, it’s a high-growth opportunity to own our hardware systems, elevate user support, and streamline the technology that powers our mission. If you are a recent grad with a "people-first" attitude and a hunger to learn, we want to hear from you.



The Role


As our first point of contact for technical requests, you’ll ensure our world-class team has the tools and stability they need to innovate. You will balance internal office support with hands-on experience in our Managed Services department, learning from senior analysts along the way.



Key Responsibilities



Internal IT Operations



  • Jira Service Management: Own the internal service desk by triaging, resolving, and documenting support tickets.

  • Technical Support: Provide prompt assistance for hardware, software, and connectivity issues (primarily a Mac environment).

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage workstation setups and user accounts to ensure every "newbie" has a seamless Day 1.

  • System Maintenance: Troubleshoot office peripherals (Wi-Fi, printers) and manage internal SaaS tools.

  • Documentation: Maintain an accurate asset inventory and create user-friendly "how-to" guides.



Managed Services Support



  • Tier 1 Ticket Management: Act as the face of Managed Services, triaging incoming requests with human-centered service.

  • Tier 2 Technical Path: Collaborate with our Technical Analysts on complex tickets to build your knowledge of system architectures.

  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Assist our Security Lead with routine compliance tasks and documentation.



What We’re Looking For



  • Education: A recent degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (e.g., Techtorium Level 6 or 7).

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with macOS/Windows troubleshooting, basic networking, and cloud suites (Google Workspace/Microsoft 365).

  • AI Fluency: You know how to leverage AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting and automate routine tasks while keeping data security top of mind.

  • Service Excellence: You translate "technical jargon" into simple instructions and maintain a patient, helpful attitude.

  • Ownership & Drive: You don’t just wait for instructions—you proactively identify ways to improve our security and workflows.
