IT Operations Lead

About the role 

We’re looking for a dynamic IT leader to take ownership of our IT Operations and elevate how technology supports our people and processes. This is a pivotal role where you’ll help shape and deliver a seamless, high-performing IT environment—balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution to ensure solutions are not only effective but truly add value across the business. 

Some key responsibilities 

• Lead IT operations & support delivery across Comvita. 

• Own service performance, availability and quality. 

• Lead incident response and vendor escalation (P1/P2). 

• Coordinate delivery across teams and providers to meet priorities and budget. 

• Administer core platforms (M365, identity, endpoints, cloud/on-prem). 

• Improve operational processes (incident/problem/change, docs, assets). 

• Lead RCA and corrective actions for recurring issues. 

• Run operational cyber security (access, patching, monitoring, response). 

• Lead IT Ops & Service Desk teams (priorities, coaching, escalations). 

• Build capability through onboarding, feedback and coaching. 

• Contribute to work planning, risks and continuous improvement. 

What we would like from you 

• 5+ years’ experience leading IT operations, infrastructure or service delivery. 

• Proven track record improving service performance in complex, fast-paced environments. 

• People leadership experience, including leading teams across functions and/or geographies. 

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior leaders and external partners.
