IT Solution Owner - ERP - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Power Farming is a leading independent privately owned global importer of agricultural machinery and equipment and JCB Construction equipment, with a history of three-generations serving the New Zealand, Australian and United States markets, and our team supports them all.

Power Farming are seeking an experienced IT Solution Owner to join our global IT team, leading the enhancement initiatives for our ERP system and integrated business systems.

In this global role you will be based at our Head Office in the Waikato and work with our Australian, New Zealand, and American business teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Be recognised as the PFG Group SME across the following functions and how they are delivered by each IT solution:
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Service
  • Warranty
  • Finance
• Identify and assess the need for process and system enhancements, contributing to their continuous improvement by transparent prioritisation, working with the business to define specific benefits that underpin business cases.
• Facilitation of workshops that enable collaboration and consistency across the PFG Group.
• Maintain relationships with specified business units, ensuring documented business processes are always current.
• Maintain a future-focussed roadmap, ensuring alignment with vendor releases and business process improvement.
• Deliver agreed outcomes by coordinating and managing resources effectively.
• Work with the business to resolve issues where a fit for purpose gap has been identified.
• Contribute as a leader on UAT activities, ensuring outcomes have traceability back to business requirements.
• Deliver system walkthrough presentations, i.e. showcasing Microsoft D365's capabilities and how they enable business requirements.
• Deliver training as required to business stakeholders and IT resources, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.

Who are you?

Key attributes we are looking for:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Extensive feature delivery knowledge in a complex wholesale/distribution business.
• Product Ownership experience of Microsoft ERP, integrations, and vendors in the Auto/AG industry.
• Excellent understanding of process mapping.
• Data governance experience.
• Outstanding planning and organisational ability.
• Strong business relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical ability and sound judgement.
• Flexibility, adaptability & willingness to take on a wide range of tasks.
• Business-focussed approach.
