Junior Data Analyst - North Shore

Our Auckland based team is currently recruiting to ensure that we are ready to make the most of a number of exciting new opportunities on the near horizon. We have an opportunity for a Junior to intermediate Data Analyst to join our office-based Auckland based team, located in Rosedale on the North Shore.

As a Data Analyst with us you'll be working with our Project Managers and Account Managers to help ensure our projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standard across a range of industry groups including local government, health, education, sporting, service providers and infrastructure owners.

Some of the key tasks of this role include:

• Assessing and reporting on data quality
• Manipulating and loading customer data
• Developing and maintaining customer databases and project asset data
• Daily support for our field asset assessor team
• Identifying and implementing customer data improvements
• Data analysis, report writing, and involvement with customer presentations
• Providing customer support and advice to our customers
• Supporting our customer software implementation projects 

To be successful in this role you will be self-driven, proactive, focussed and a good communicator. It is essential for this role that you possess sound business writing and presentation skills to communicate with our customers and internally within the team. You will also have a sound understanding of statistical analysis concepts, be a logical thinker with a keen attention to detail. 

This role will grow your existing computer skills and your skills with manipulation and analysis of data. As the successful applicant will have frequent involvement in customer facing opportunities, work experience in a customer fronting role will be viewed very positively.  

This role requires a degree qualification, ideally in engineering, sciences, business or another technical field. An intermediate level of knowledge of the Microsoft Office product suite is essential as is the ability to prioritise your work and meet deadlines.
