ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Auckland-based Junior Sales and Marketing Executive will collaboratively target existing clients within the organization's portfolio while actively pursuing new business opportunities. You will oversee a portion of the marketing function. With an attractive package and promising career prospects, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact in the market, contributing to the continued success and growth of the organisation.
SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain high-level Client Relationship Management to ensure top-tier service and client retention.
- Drive new business development and oversee the entire sales cycle, from initiation to closure.
- Identify promising clients through thorough research and market analysis.
- Establish rapport with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
- Prepare accurate proposals and costings to secure new business.
- Quickly grasp technical concepts to effectively communicate product benefits.
- Manage software renewals, including scheduling, invoicing, and payments.
- Ensure consistent updating of sales and marketing platforms.
- Lead digital marketing campaigns to expand audience and engagement.
- Monitor and report on marketing activities and online performance.
- Stay abreast of digital trends aligned with company objectives.
- Coordinate event logistics, from announcements to feedback collection.
- Actively participate in networking events and industry conferences.
EXPERIENCES:
- Minimum of three years in sales and marketing roles.
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, particularly in software, data, and analytics services.
- Proficiency in developing comprehensive marketing strategies and executing multi-channel campaigns.
- Preference for experience in scaling startups or the tech sector.
- Strong negotiation skills within corporate environments.
- Established network of clients across New Zealand.
