We are seeking a champion for whanau that is passionate about seeking the right pathways to achieve wellness. Our kaiawhina will work alongside whanau to improve health outcomes and overall wellness, ensuring our community thrives through whanau-led supports.
The role is fulltime working in the Papakura community.
Te Whiwhinga mahi - About the role
The Kaiawhina is a dynamic role that will work across our health and social services, connecting with whanau in a meaningful and whanau-centered way. The kaiawhina will have a diverse work programme, that engages across a spectrum of whanau that require manaakitanga. Some examples include, but are not limited to:
He korero mo Papakura Marae - About us
We are a maataawaka Marae based in Papakura, that serves our community regardless of ethnicity, age or other. We have over 50+ services, and 80+ staff within a range of areas, including; housing, employment, health services, co-located agency support, whanau ora, justice and food security.

We are seeking a dynamic champion for whanau who is not afraid to advocate and serve the best interests of whanau. You are a believer in whanau-centered approaches to wellness, and have a strong understanding of kaupapa Maori methods and models of care, and incorporate Te Ao Maori principles and values n your practice.
