Job Description - Kaitaki Hanga Construction Manager

Supply at Z Energy looks after the whole fuel supply chain and maintenance of all assets to ensure we have what we need, where we need it.In this newly created role as our Kaitaki Hanga Construction Manager you will manage all construction projects from inception to completion. There is always plenty happening at Z and our construction projects on the go will range from remediation works to retail site fitouts and span multiple small to medium sized works.With a background in construction project management, you will be tasked with coordinating all aspects of the construction process, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Bring your stakeholder management skills, knowledge of compliance and health and safety, up to date knowledge of building codes and ultimately contribute to the successful creation of vibrant retail spaces that enhance Z's overall customer offer.You will have the opportunity toProvide construction management ensuring quality outcomes with contractors and key stakeholdersUtilise your project management skills by demonstrating the proficient management of multiple projects, adhering to timelines and budgetsEnsure compliance by working to and having a thorough understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and all other appropriate legal standardsBe the main point of contact and ensure a high level of communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycleProvide clear and concise updates to stakeholders anticipating and problem solving any issuesQualifications What you'll bring to ZA strong focus on execution with experience managing and delivering construction projectsExperience in residential or commercial builds and fit outs working across multiple small to medium sized projectsExcellent relationship building skills and stakeholder engagement to be able to coordinate resources, communicate effectively and work with a range of peopleKnowledge of building standards and compliance and a focus on safetyThe flexibility to travel around Aotearoa New Zealand to various sitesExperience in the lifecycle of building projectsAnd of course, you'll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our valuesto helpus deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.Don't meet every single requirement?
