Kaiwhakapuawai – Immunisation & Primary Community Healthcare

Rapuora | Te Puawaitanga ki Ōtautahi Trust

We are seeking a whānau‑centred Kaiwhakapuawai to join our Rapuora team at Te Puawaitanga ki Ōtautahi Trust in the Immunisation and Primary Community Care space.

This role supports whānau to access immunisations and health services through kaupapa Māori, culturally safe practice. You’ll work closely with nurses and the wider Rapuora team, supporting bookings, outreach, administration, reporting, and clinic delivery.

About you:

• Experience working with Māori and within a kaupapa Māori environment.


• Confident communicator with whānau by phone, kanohi‑ki‑te‑kanohi, and in the community


• Strong administrative skills and confidence using digital systems


• Organised, adaptable, and able to support whānau with empathy and manaakitanga
