As the Key Account Manager, you will closely support large and high-profile customers in a number of exciting projects and their day-to-day electrical needs. This will see you being the go-to person from looking at new connections to enable electrification and decarbonisation, through to ensuring service delivery, managing commercial changes, and handling network issues.
Along with an external focus, internal relationships with the likes of engineering, operations, commercial and regulatory will be key. You will build an understanding of knowing who to approach and when to approach, gathering the appropriate and relevant information for your customers.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity! A rapidly evolving industry, you will be at the forefront of communicating capability to customers and contributing to some high-profile projects from conception.
As well as supporting your customers' journey, you'll play a key role in helping set Aurora's future, working closely with senior management and influencing strategic decisions. Given the nature of the role, you'll gain broad exposure across the business giving plenty of variety. Not in Dunedin? Relocation support is on offer. There is also the option of being based in Aurora's Central Otago office.
About You
Bringing strong customer service, commercial, and infrastructure knowledge you could come from a range of backgrounds. A self-starter and degree qualified you will have the ability to understand your customer's needs, striving to exceed their expectations while ensuring Aurora's interests are maintained.
You'll enjoy meeting with a range of people in person, developing relationships. As well as maximising connections, you will thrive during high pressure situations, utilising your strong communication skills to ensure the best possible outcome for your customer.
