We have an exciting opportunity to join our Learning Support Team as a permanent, part-time Learning Assistant in Term 3 (20 July 2026).

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2,000 students.  Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tūmanako. 

About the job

As a Learning Assistant, you will be joining a passionate and committed group of staff, working to support our students with a diverse range of learning and/or behaviour needs. The role is 15 hours per week and term-time only. 

The successful applicant will be:

• Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic for helping students realise their full potential


• Excellent with communication and organisational skills
  


• Able to work flexibly in a collaborative team environment


• Willing to learn new skills
  


• Experienced in supporting complex learning and behaviour needs
