ABOUT THE ROLE

Based at our Awarua plant in Invercargill, as a Laboratory Technician you will be supporting the quality control and environmental functions at the Awarua operations site by providing analytical support to satisfy business requirements. A typical day could include:

• Carrying out routine and non-routine testing for quality assurance


• Ensuring laboratory equipment is calibrated


• Reporting and distributing test results as required


• Auditing effectiveness of site systems and


• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU

You’re a go-getter with a passion for continuous improvement and an eye for detail.  Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills


• Strong data analysis and statistical process to track product quality


• High attention to detail


• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills


• Experience working with Word and Excel
