Solicitor/Senior Solicitor – Litigation

We are looking for a Solicitor/Senior Solicitor to join our team to work on litigation matters, with a focus on relationship property.       You will have the support of senior practitioners, and the opportunity to run your own files.  

You will enjoy working with autonomy, whilst having the support of our Partners whose working style is consultative with an excellent focus on open communication. You will possess a desire and drive to build your practice area and bring your reputation to compliment Harkness Henry’s proud reputation - with marketing and business development support we’ll work with you to grow our business - we’re a busy and collaborative team at Harkness Henry.  We are seeking a Solicitor who can bring some experience in both transactional (e.g., pre/post relationship contracting out Agreements) and contentious (e.g., Family and High Court proceedings, settlement conferences, and defended hearings) relationship property matters. 

The ideal candidate will:

• Around 3 - 5 years PQE in dispute resolution/litigation with experience in relationship property matters 
• Be comfortable with Court and mediation appearances which may include general civil, estates, and trust disputes. 
• Have the ability to manage client relationships and bring a reputation for building relationships;
• Have strong communication and mediation skills; 
• Have an empathetic and understanding manner when working with clients under stress.
