Lead Stores Assistant

Position Overview

We now have an exciting opportunity at our busy service counter. This role is vital in supporting our workshops to get the job done right and efficiently. We’re looking for a motivated and reliable person to step into this key position. You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the stores department - managing inwards goods, maintaining stock, and providing efficient, friendly service to our workshops and the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

· First point of contact at service counter, handling requests with friendly service

· Coordinate work orders to keep workflow on track

· Manage goods in/out, load/unload freight safely (incl. forklift use)

· Check and receipt inwards goods, resolve discrepancies

· Support stock control ordering, monitoring, and rolling stock takes

Qualifications & Skills

· Previous experience in a warehouse, or service counter role.

· Forklift licence/experience preferred.

· Intermediate computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly

· Dangerous Goods certificate preferred

· Strong organisational and multitasking ability.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
