Supporting stakeholders across the business with pragmatic and timely advice and guidance to deliver Serko’s strategic objectives, while also partnering with the General Counsel and Company Secretary to ensure compliance with Listing Requirements and best practice corporate governance for NZX and ASX.

What you’ll get to do

• Advise on a broad range of legal issues related to Serko's business operations, including partnering with Sales, Commercial, Product, Security, and Technology teams for contracts, agreements, and sourcing products and services, while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory laws.
• Support corporate legal matters for Serko’s listings on the New Zealand and Australian stock exchanges, including maintaining Board records, advising on listing rules, continuous disclosure, shareholder meetings, financial and ESG reporting, share schemes, and subsidiary compliance.
• Develop and maintain templates, utilizing technology solutions to automate tasks and streamline workflows.
• Deliver training on relevant legal issues to internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with and manage external legal providers to ensure effective legal support.

What you’ll bring

• Leveraging your experience in private practice or in-house legal roles.
• Handling corporate law and corporate governance matters.
• Demonstrating strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Taking a proactive approach to anticipate and plan for operational needs.
• Applying solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

You will need a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a current practising certificate from New Zealand.
