Level 1 Warehouse ICT Technician

We’re on the hunt for a Level 1 ICT Warehouse Technician!

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team in Penrose, South Auckland.

Remarkit Solutions is a Green IT business that professionally manages the commissioning, secure disposal, environmental recycling, and remarketing of Information Technology equipment for clients throughout New Zealand.

Due to increasing requirements, we are looking to hire additional superstars to join our Warehouse ICT Team in Penrose.

This role involves performing a variety of tasks. Predominantly you will be based in Penrose with our team of Sorters & Testers. This work includes:

· Grading and testing equipment.

· Data sanitisation of IT assets – utilising the Blancco Suite of products or similar.

· Ensure that the sanitisation of hardware devices is completed accurately.

· Ensure you are meeting or exceeding targets.

· Using software to accurately catalogue data and devices for reporting purposes.

· Troubleshooting and testing of hardware devices.

· Warehouse administration.

· Sorting customer lots.

You may also be required to travel to customer’s sites in the Auckland and Northern region to perform technical duties, these include:

· Providing ongoing technical support and problem resolution for office deployments, upgrades, decommissions and general office network problems.

· Imaging and reimaging of computer systems at a customer site, installation, and support, maintain, monitor & troubleshoot LAN and Wi-Fi networks.

· Managing IT inventory systems and asset systems.

In addition to being a Level 1 ICT Tech rockstar, we’re also keen on the following attributes:

· A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.

· Knowledge of ISO14001 and NZ Government warehouse security operations compliance.

· Ability to look at situations from several points of view.

· High comfort level working in a diverse environment.

· A thorough knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and commonly used software.

· An eye for detail.

· The ability to meet deadlines in a professional manner.

· A willingness to keep up to date with IT developments.

· An awareness of electrical and OSH safety issues.

· Ensure that all standards are maintained to a high level.

· Maintaining a detailed focus on asset tracking.

Other skills required for this role include:

· A full class 1 drivers’ license.

· Able to drive manual vehicles.

· A good level of physical fitness is required.

· Able to work well in a team environment, but equally can work alone setting yourself targets.

You must be a NZ resident or have the appropriate work visa and able to pass a Police check to apply.

This position is required to work onsite in Auckland.
