LIM and Property Files Officer – 6 Months Fixed Term

Te Tūranga | About the role

This position requires the ability to understand documentation, processes and terminology around building and resource consents and geographical information systems. Responsibility is for the creation and provision of information relating to property that Council is aware of and holds on file while ensuring this information is accurate and reporting completed within required timeframes. You will also be required to meet individual customer needs in relation to requests by both phone and email communication including discussion of information provided and managing enquiries on applications received.

This role is a 6 month fixed term position, working for 16 hours per week with the flexibility to take on additional hours as required. This role is an office based position with the flexibility to work some hours from home after an initial training period.

Ngā Pukenga | What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll bring;

• NCEA Level 3 or University Entrance equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' work experience, preferably in a regulatory or property related environment.
• Strong customer focus and commitment.
• High level of accuracy.
• Proven ability to learn technical information across and range of subjects.
• Demonstrated initiative and good judgment skills.
