ElectiNET is recruiting for a Faultperson to join our growing team in the Gisborne/ Wairoa areas. This position is permanent full-time, Minimum 40 hours per week.

Reporting to the Lines Team Leader, you will be responsible for: Install, repair and maintain overhead and underground lines.Carry out Fault Response worksActively work on and maintain the day to day running of the Firstlight Networks Network.Assist with the maintenance on the Streetlight contract inclusive of installations, repairs and maintenance of overhead and underground components associated with streetlights.Build strong long-term relationships with our customers To be successful, a candidate must have the following qualifications, experience and skills: Current NZ EWRB Practising LicenceNZ Line Mechanic / Fault Switching QualificationCurrent Unrestricted NZ Drivers Licence, heavy traffic preferredMinimum of 3 years' experience in associated activitiesFamiliar with distribution systems and associated procedures up to and including 50kVKnowledge of tree compliance regulations and management procedures preferredKnowledge of all appropriate industry rules and regulations including the HSAW Act 2015Strong lines construction skills with a focus on safetyMust be comfortable working at heightsAbility to read and understand plans and mapsAble to carry out system switching & Fault Response works Both Overhead & Underground Networks.Experience with off road / 4x4 driving The Horizon Energy Group takes pride in its commitment to the health and safety of all its stakeholders.
